Squamish Bear Aware

Bear aware is an initiative to reduce human/bear conflicts in residential areas through community based education programs. The bear aware program promotes practices that improve public safety and respect for wild bears. The Bear Aware Program offers presentations to schools organizations and community groups with the focus on how people can move peacefully ands safely co-exist with bears.
