Squamish Emergency Program

Emergency preparedness info at www.sarinfo.bc.ca The Squamish Emergency Program includes three groups: Search and Rescue, Emergency Social Services and Communication. The Squamish Emergency Program is responsible for the purchase of equipment, training and supplies. It also plans and coordinates the many community events involving program members. To join any of these groups, pick up an application form at the District of Squamish office. Search and Rescue members must be in good physical condition, enjoy the outdoors and be able to commit a certain amount of time towards training and tasks.
