Brackendale Winter Eagle Count

The eagle count is administered by the B.C. Wildlife Service, the Squamish Estuary Conservation Society, and the Brackendale Art Gallery Society. Sixty Trained volunteer count the eagles in twenty different areas, every January. Started in 1985, with the world record of 3,769 eagles in 1994.
