Estuary Bird Count

Come out for a pleasant morning walk and have your bird questions answered. Meet at the Brew Pub and join knowledgeable birders in counting Squamish birds. This group's pleasure in bird spotting over the last ten years or so, has resulted in Squamish having the best set of bird statistics in BC. Novice to expert birders welcome for half a day of birding followed by lunch at the Brew Pub. The estuary is divided into four count areas. Some areas have more walking than others, so if you're energetic let them know, and if limiting your walking will increase your enjoyment, ask to be in a group that covers areas with less walking. Bird counts are a wonderful way to get to know the estuary and fellow nature lovers.
